Tonight, there's no more of that girl vs. boy business. It's down to dancing. Tomorrow night, there will be two eliminations based on last weeks scores and votes as well as this week's.
During the live blogging, you'll see that there are names of couples that have not yet danced with blank scores and commentary. This is just my way of making it a little easier to get the information out to you as quickly as possible.
As of next week, if not tomorrow, the Dancing With The Stars Blog will be posting videos of the dances right after the show, so stay tuned and subscribe if you haven't already done so.
Now, let's get on with this star and pony show, shall we?
I see we're still introducing the guys first. Steve Guttenberg just mouthed "Hi Mom and Dad" from the line-up.
And Marissa Jaret Winokur is in Bright Freaking Pink. Capital letters.
Steve Guttenberg & Anna Trebunskaya
Dance: Mambo
So, Anna's mom is flirting terribly with Steve. Woo.
And now he is dancing very badly to a very bad rendition of....some song.
Judges Commentary: Len says that Steve's dancing is as bad as Len's cooking. Bruno says that all his energy went into his facial expressions. Carrie Ann says that the audience is behind him, but he didn't really go anywhere. Anna is yelling that this is the second dance. Yelling at the judges. Nice.
Scores for Anna & Steve

Cristian de la Fuente & Cheryl Burke
Dance: Quick Step
Very fierce and "into it" quick step.
Judges Commentary: Carrie Ann says that his posture is improved, but that there was a few missteps. Len says there was one or two missteps, but that it was too wild. (I agree) Bruno says that he captured the character, but that he needs to work on his footwork.

Monica Seles & Jonathan Roberts
Dance: Mambo
Monica is still a bit awkward. Some of the steps are terribly flat. Eek. It's as if her feet are trying, but the rest of her body isn't cooperating.
Judges Commentary: Bruno says she's either on or off and that she's not really connected to the music. Carrie Ann - "What I really love about you" is that she goes for it. Len says that he can really see she's a fish out of water, but that there's a lot of technical problems with the dance.

Penn Jillette & Kym Johnson
Dance: Quick Step
Dude. He just leaned on the dance rail at the dang thing tore off the wall. Bigfoot indeed.
Magical props. My God, he looks even bigger this week. How is that possible?
So far, the dances this week are, well, god bless 'em.
Judges Commentary: Len says that he did try to do a proper quick step, but his feet are terrible. Bruno says the footwork was really, really, really bad. Carrie Ann likes him out there, despite the bad footwork. Teller is happy. Penn says that no one is having more fun. And he pratfalls. The crowd oohs.
Scores for Kym and Penn:

Priscilla Presley & Louis Van Amstel
Dance: Mambo
So far the best dance of the night. Note: that title has now easily been taken by Shannon Elizabeth and Derek Hough.
Judges Commentary: Carrie Ann says that she's "got it." Len says that it was a little too precise. Bruno says that she was too precise as well. Carrie Ann says that she likes that she didn't overdo it.
Scores for Priscilla & Louis:

Shannon Elizabeth & Derek Hough
Dance: Quick Step
Shannon doesn't think she deserved last week scores. That's a new one.
Apparently she doesn't have good cardio stamina. Hell, neither do I.
Wow. She's just a bit too gorgeous in that silver gown. And personally, I think she did a fabulous job. Let's see what the judges think, Tom! I personally say it was the best dance so far. Move over, Priscilla.
Judges Commentary: Bruno says that's what dancing is all about. Improved from last week and that's what they want. Carrie Ann says it was a difficult routine and she did fantastic. Len says that it's the best dance so far tonight. I agree.
Scores for Shannon & Derek:

Jason Taylor & Edyta Sliwinska
Dance: Mambo
I'll buy that for a dollar. Or two. Three.
Judges Commentary: Len says that he's a winner. Bruno says that he is the mambo king tonight. Carrie Ann says that he's a real contender and has a real shot of winning.
Scores for Edyta and Jason:

Marissa Jaret Winokur & Tony Dovalani
Dance: Quick Step
Okay, now she's doing the waterworks. Eek.
Good job on the dance though.
Judges Commentary: Carrie Ann says that she's disappointed, but not to give up. And she almost starts crying. Now Carrie Ann's taking it easier on her. Oh boy. Len says that he loves her and that it's a great improvement on last week. Bruno says she did a classic quick step.

Adam Carolla & Julianne Hough
Dance: Mambo
I say this as a straight woman: it's hard to concentrate on anything with Julianne wearing that dress.
Judges Commentary: Bruno says that he has reimagined the mambo. He's not a natural dancer, but he did make him laugh. Carrie says she's curious what she's going to be called after tonight (eluding to the "bitch" comment from last week). But she enjoyed it. Len said it was brilliant. He says that he entertained the crowd and that's what it was about.

Marlee Matlin & Fabian Sanchez
Dance: Quick Step
These quick step dresses are, for the most part, very elegant and really flattering. I think Shannon's is my favorite, but Marlee's is very nice.
And Henry Winkler's in the audience clapping fiercely for Marlee.
Judges Commentary: Len says that she has the possibility to go very far. Bruno says she has an incredible stage presence. Bruno agrees with Len that there might have been a little bit too much mambo in that quick step. Carrie Ann says that she's like watching a film come to life. She says that she needs to work on her hold.

Kristi Yamaguchi & Mark Ballas
Dance: Mambo
Wow. I think she did really well. And did I just see Sabrina Bryan in the audience?
Judges Commentary: Carrie Ann says that the other couples are going to have a hard time beating her scores. Len says that she set a high standard last week, but she met it. Bruno says that it was great choreography and that she's right on it.

Mario & Karina Smirnoff
Dance: Quick Step
I'm just wondering if that jump at the beginning is going to count as a lift. And there seemed to be a lift at the end. Am I wrong? We'll see what Carrie Ann says.
Judges Commentary: Bruno says that it was Mario and the Queen of Sheba. Says that he could be a winner. Len says that his footwork was pretty good, but his hold was off a bit. Carrie Ann says that it had a certain vibe to it and it was good. No mention of a lift. Guess I was mistaken.
